A Brief Introduction:

Before we embark on this short yet intense journey about India and the various geo-political problems it faces and my opinions on how we can solve these problems I would like to first briefly introduce you to the basic and universally known facts about our nation,India.

The first question that always pops up in my mind when i look at India's problems is "What is India?".
I mean We as Indians do ever understand what is India?.Well to satisfy myself i give many explainations to myself, but the one that satisfies me the most is an analogy that i  feel explains India in a nutshell.

India to me is an ocean.A vast amalgamation of various cultures and people. This nation has never been isolated. If we look back into its rich history we shall find that it has always been a place of dynamic processes involving, cultures, politics and people.

Since the time aryans arrived in the subcontinent to this very day when India is a rising economy with aspirations to dominate the world order again, one thing always has remained the same,i.e. the influx of cultures.

And as we know that  when different cultures come together they first clash, then they amlgamte and what results is something unique.Something that is beyond the usual concepts of culture and civilization.

And as India as a nation has been the centre of such influx of cultres since ages, what has evolved out of it is something unique, something that has no parallels in the anals of history or in the contemporary world.

Now that was the good side of this influx of cultres and the propects it develops for us.But here our main objectives is to discuss the various problems that have arisen due to this amalgmation and their current implications on governance, policy making and our approach to international relations.

To understand fully the problems faced by our nation in the cuurent scenario we first have to go back a little into the rich history of this nation.
India as a nation has always been a center point for trade and commerce since ages, and as trade brings money, and money brings greed,India has always been a target for invading forces,be it the greeks, afghans, turks, mughals or the british, all have invaded our territories conquered our lands and used us for ages. But call it the magic of this nation or the intense magnetic pull of this wonderland, all who came to this place to trample its holy land or to exract its essense fell prey to its spellbinding magic. Most of them forgot the purpose of their coming and adopted this land as their homes, thus enrichng the culture of this magic land and making it more beautiful.

Today the indians have realised ther worth and are now  in the process of evolving into a power that could be recognized in the international arena. But this process is not an easy one.there are many problems that we as nation have to face on a daily basis. There are social, economic and political issues that present us indians with a sense of disheartenment. But we know that this is just the begining and we have the will and capability to deal with them. And i am proud to say that although the problems are many we are doing a good job,and that we shall prevail.

This was a brief introduction, now I shall be discussing some core issues, some problems that haunt the indian policy making machinery. In the coming few sections a brief outlay of issues that concern us on a global level, our relations with other nations and some opinions on how we can solve some very complex issues will be discussed.
